TreadMe Return PolicyWe're confident you'll love your TreadMe roofing shoes, but we understand things don't always work out. If you need to make a return, we’ve made the process straightforward.Cancellations
- Pre-Sale Orders: Pre-sale purchases are handled differently, as they secure production and allocation of our specialty footwear in advance. As such, cancellations for pre-sale orders are not guaranteed and may be non-refundable.
- Cancellation Fee: If a pre-sale cancellation is approved, a 3% processing fee will be deducted from your refund to cover costs associated with payment processing and administration.
Returns & Exchanges
- 30-Day Window: Returns must be initiated within 30 days of delivery.
- New Condition: All items must be unworn and in new condition, including the original packaging, tags, and markings. We recommend trying on your shoes indoors on a clean surface to ensure they remain in perfect condition.
- Return Shipping: We provide a convenient prepaid return shipping label. The cost of this label will be deducted from your total refund amount.
- Refunds: Your refund will be issued to your original payment method once we receive and inspect your return. Please note that original shipping charges are non-refundable.
- Exchanges: For an exchange, simply return your item for a refund and place a new order for the size or style you prefer.
Non-Returnable Items
- Worn, damaged, or altered items will not be accepted.
- Items marked as final sale or clearance cannot be returned.
How to Start a Return To initiate the process, please email us atreturns@treadme.com with date of purchase, order number and reason for return or cancellation. A TreadMe team member will provide you with a prepaid shipping label once your return or cancellation is approved along with further instructions.

User responsibilityThe user is solely responsible for exercising proper caution and judgment when working at height. You must:
- Inspect before each use: Check the shoes, especially the soles and pads, for any wear, damage, or embedded debris that could compromise traction.
- Use proper safety equipment: Always use additional safety measures, such as a personal fall arrest system, guardrails, and safety nets, in conjunction with this footwear.

- Understand limitations: Be aware that no footwear, including TreadMe, can provide "slip-proof" protection in all circumstances. The effectiveness of traction is highly dependent on environmental conditions and the type of roofing material.
